On July 9th and 10th comes an event that anyone and everyone looking to make a name in the digital marketing world must attend. It’s eComXpo, the virtual tradeshow and job fair for eCommerce marketers -- and, as you might expect, you can attend the entire event directly from your home or office.

EComXpo Benefits

The perfect trade show for the virtual world, the entirety of eComXpo is presented and takes place online. The show provides everything a live trade show would, with the added convenience of online interaction. There’s no need to travel or even take a day off from the office to participate. Illustrating one of the advantages of online trading, the entire show is completely free to attend. Thousands of attendees and over 100 exhibitors are expected, along with multiple expert presenters. EComXpo attendees will also benefit from the first-ever virtual job fair.

EComXpo Exhibitors

A massive number of exhibitors have committed to participating in the eComXpo virtual trade show, including AKMG, Commission Junction, Overstock.com, Ask.com, ad:tech, Target, 1-800-Flowers.com and Advertising.com. These exhibitors and others realize that the access they will have to thousands of interactive marketing, search engine marketing and affiliate marketing professionals is of incalculable value. EComXpo is so confident in the effectiveness of their online trade show that they are willing to guarantee 1,000 leads to exhibitors who participate in the event.

EComXpo Features

The eComXpo virtual world functions just like a live trade show. Participants can attend informative presentations, visit booths of exhibitors and communicate with other attendees through chat with other participants and exhibitors. Exhibitor booths are enabled so that visitors can view or download prepared information from the exhibitor, leave their business card for the exhibitor or interact directly with staff from the exhibitor’s company. Participants are even eligible for prizes and giveaways through the exhibitor.

EComXpo Education Sessions

Another appealing feature of the eComXpo is the presentations from expert speakers, referred to by eComXpo as “education sessions.” These education sessions can be keynote speeches, panel discussions or feature presentations on topics such as affiliate marketing, general interactive marketing and search engine marketing. Attendees have the flexibility to sort through the different presentations and attend them at their own convenience.

Prior eComXpo keynote speakers have included: Senior Director of Advertiser Product Marketing for Yahoo! Benefits of Attending EComXpo

As an affiliate marketing manager, SEM specialist, media buyer or any other online merchandising or advertising professional, you can take advantage of eComXpo to analyze hundreds of vendors in matter of days rather than weeks or months, to learn the cutting edge theories in eCommerce and to network on a global and highly efficient level. In addition, attendees can receive awesome prizes and giveaways just for participating in the eComXpo trade show. As an exhibitor, you can get information about your company and its products to many more people more quickly than you ever could through conventional means. Finally, if you’re looking for work in the digital marketing world, the virtual job fair at eComXpo is the quickest, most efficient, most effective way to do it. Target exactly the types of jobs that are right for you and exchange information quickly and directly, rather than wandering around wondering where you need to go next and how much time you need to spend there.

EComXpo: The Numbers

Concerns about how much traffic the eComXpo actually gets are unfounded. The October show saw over 8,100 attendees, 144 exhibitor booths, over 150,000 total booth visits, more than 90,000 electronic business cards exchanged and nearly 16,000 in-show chats initiated. A majority of those surveyed from the October 2007 show agreed that their experience with the trade show was positive, that exhibiting was easy and economical as compared to traditional trade shows, and that the job fair component was of interest. eComXpo is not to be missed.

EComXpo: The Job Fair

Interested exhibitors can add the virtual job fair to their booth to attract top talent to their companies. The convenience of the virtual trade show extends to the job fair, as HR representatives from your company can instantly review resumes and interview multiple applicants during the show itself, so that your company can leave the show not only with hundreds of new leads, but potentially any number of high quality employees as well.

EComXpo Sponsors

Those companies who have demonstrated their confidence in the power and value of eComXpo through sponsorship include: ad:tech, Google, LinkShare, Microsoft AdCenter, DMA, InternetWorld, LinkValu, PokerRoom.com, YuDu Media, Revenue Magazine and Webmaster Radio.
