How’d you make out this Fourth?

The week winded down and the weekend was just calling your name. You had BBQ’s to attend, family to see, and even a day off of work last week(if you were lucky like me!) Most people get extremely excited when they hear they are going to be getting a little R&R with the holiday approaching. But for affiliate marketers, its sometimes the opposite. Some affiliate marketers look at this as a time when their traffic will be down because of those BBQ’s and family get togethers. So for some affiliate marketers, this can mean some added stress. But, with a little planning and preparation, and some creativity, you can make the holiday a great time for some good traffic.
Holiday related landing pages and creatives will obviously be your friend before the actual holiday approaches. The time during the actual holiday can be one of the most important times for your traffic. There will be a rollercoaster effect in your traffic with late night fireworks, people out for BBQ’s and beach parties, etc. Maybe concentrate email drops at opposite times? For example, morning hours during the 4th of July would be ideal seeing as most people will be out during the day for their festivities.
You need to also update your offers as soon as the holiday is over. You may still have some other post holiday creatives and landing pages that you can utilize - “Lose the Holiday Weight”. With a little planning and effort, you can make any holiday great for traffic, and hopefully a little less stressful. Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
